How should I transport dry ice home?

Bring a hard-sided cooler, and keep your vehicle well-ventilated. Avoid airtight containers to prevent pressure buildup. You can also purchase a box or styrofoam cooler (visit the link to see styrofoam sizes and pricing cash & carry containers).

How much dry ice should I buy for a cooler or event?
A general rule is 10–15 pounds of dry ice per day for a standard cooler. Quantity may vary based on insulation and outdoor temperature.
Can I use dry ice for Halloween, camping, or parties?
Yes! Dry ice is perfect for fog effects, keeping food cold, or adding a dramatic touch to events—just handle it safely.

We ship your dry ice in containers specifically designed for the dry ice industry. Yes we offer different sizes of blocks (2.5 lbs & 5lb), pellets (3mm, 10mm & 16mm) and airline cut dry ice.

Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide (CO₂). It is extremely cold at -109.3°F (-78.5°C) and turns directly into gas as it warms (sublimates).
Is it safe to touch dry ice with bare hands?
No. Direct skin contact with dry ice can cause severe frostbite. Always handle it with insulated gloves or tongs.
Can I store dry ice in a sealed container?
